- I am at least 18 years old and this contribution is made from my own funds and not from funds of another.
- This contribution is not made from the general treasury funds of a corporation, labor union or national bank.
- I am not a government contractor.
- I am a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien.
- This contribution is made on a credit card for which I have the legal obligation to pay, and is not made on a corporate or business entity credit card or on the card of another person.
Contributions to the League of Conservation Voters Action Fund are not tax-deductible and will be used for political purposes such as to help elect or defeat federal candidates. Contributions from corporations, labor organizations, federal government contractors, or foreign nationals are prohibited. Federal law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name, mailing address, occupation and employer for individuals whose contributions exceed $200 in a calendar year.
The guidelines for contribution amounts are merely suggestions. You are free to contribute more or less than the suggested amounts so long as your aggregate contributions to the League of Conservation Voters Action Fund do not exceed $5000 in a calendar year; contributions are voluntary and you have the right to refuse to contribute without reprisal. Contributions are subject to the limitations and prohibitions of the Federal Election Campaign Act.
